Monitoring Specialist

Job description
The successful candidate will be instrumental in the design, construction, and management of our IT monitoring platform and related systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies in a responsible and impactful environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain and advance IT monitoring platforms, including Zabbix
• Develop and manage Linux-based technologies
• Implement enhancements and new features to the IT monitoring systems
• Collaborating with various teams across Norlys to ensure integrated solutions

The position is based in Aarhus.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience in deploying and managing monitoring platforms with a strong understanding of Linux-based enterprise environments
• A proven track record in relevant professional roles, supported by the necessary educational background
• An organised and systematic approach to work with an inherent sense of ownership in your field of expertise
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and consultation
  

Technical skills:

• Proficiency in multiple operating systems, especially Linux and Windows
• Experience with enterprise and open-source monitoring solutions
• Familiarity with platforms such as Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Datadog, SL1, etc.
• Experience in scripting with languages like Powershell, Perl, Python, Go, and Ansible
• A strong background in automation

Security clearance
