Senior Solution Architect - Debt Management Development

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and implement a new Dunning (Reminder) solution at Danske Bank.

As a Solution Architect, you will be working in a team with business analysts and software engineers to translate business knowledge into working software. You will participate in defining interface descriptions, cloud design, and API contracts, providing your technical insights, guidance, and solution architectural skills to achieve great business outcomes.

Your role will include opportunities to learn, exchange your knowledge with others, contribute to existing solutions and do things from scratch. Your contributions will be crucial in transforming the Bank’s Debt Management area and building the new future.

You will

• Design and document solution and integration architectures.

• Support solution design by actively engaging, providing feedback on designs, and facilitating knowledge sharing across squads.

• Engage with multiple stakeholders to find the best solutions. This includes stakeholders both inside and outside of the squad, and both IT and business experts.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and guidelines.

• Act as a sparring partner for software engineers and lend a hand in development and testing when feasible.

• Promote, advocate, and refine best practices for software engineering.

About you

• Proven experience working as a Solution Architect.

• Keen to gain business and domain knowledge.

• Good understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, design patterns, distributed systems and cloud-native (preferably Amazon Web Services) development.

• Experience in defining, documenting, and communicating architecture solutions to a wide audience including both IT savvy and business centric colleagues.

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Great collaboration and communication skills.

• The software engineers will code in Java, so Java knowledge is beneficial.
