Responsible for managing project-related procurement across the Nordics
Do you have experience in procurement within project-oriented environments and the ability to execute and create clarity in complex processes? Can you navigate cross-national collaborations, establish best practices, and deliver robust solutions under tight deadlines? You can be based in Jutland at our Hadsten headquarters or in Sweden at our Fredriksdal office, with flexibility for relocation if needed.
Deliver results through execution, effective project procurement, and strong relationships
As the Nordic Project Purchaser, you will play a central role in driving project-related procurement across the Nordics. Reporting to the CSO, you will be part of a newly established function where you ensure that projects are delivered on time and with high quality. Acting as a link between strategic buyers, sales, and customers, you will support complex projects with tight deadlines, focusing sharply on processes and solutions. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure stable supply chains
- Coordinating with sales and project teams to understand customer needs and secure timely deliveries
- Managing procurement processes, including negotiation and ensuring compliance with policies and contracts
- Identifying areas for improvement, sharing knowledge, and implementing best practices across projects and Nordic countries to ensure optimal project execution and collaboration
- Managing supply chain risks and ensuring that projects meet customer requirements and expectations
- Structuring complex customer RFQ’s with the given supplier network given by the strategic team
- Close cooperation with local sales to ensure in time pricing of RFQ’s
- Close contact with engineers and suppliers to ensure understanding of the products to be priced
In this role, you will be instrumental in connecting projects and the value chain across the Nordics. Collaborating closely with decision-makers and cross-functional teams, your efforts will foster an agile and solution-oriented culture. You can expect approximately 40 days of annual travel within Europe.
An execution-oriented project purchaser with experience from manufacturing companies and comprehensive value chains
To succeed as the Nordic Project Purchaser, you must have strong project procurement skills and thrive in a role where overview, execution, and agility are paramount. Your solid experience in manufacturing with in-house production, sourcing, and end-to-end value chains enables you to navigate complex procurement processes and deliver results in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines. Experience in shopfitting is a plus. You are accustomed to working in international environments, communicating across teams and borders. You work closely with sales teams and strategic buyers to effectively and efficiently meet customer needs. With your strong collaboration skills and outgoing nature, you build trust and establish relationships across cultures and professional backgrounds. At the same time, you ensure that projects meet requirements for time, quality, and cost efficiency. Your success in the role will depend on your ability to understand complex needs, coordinate solutions, and work analytically. You have solid experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong negotiation skills, deep process understanding, and flexibility to handle rapidly changing project demands. Additionally, you are well-versed in procurement lifecycle management and time-to-market concepts. Resilient and persuasive, you create engagement around your projects. You are motivated by influencing and shaping processes and solutions, thriving in a newly created role where innovation and improvements are encouraged. Solid experience in ERP systems and Excel is essential. Finally, you possess strong proficiency in written and spoken English, as it is essential for covering the entire Nordic organisation.
