Are you an accomplished professional with experience in managing quality processes and resolving product claims? At Schou, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Claim Manager to join our Quality Department. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality standards, driving efficient resolution of customer claims together with stakeholders. Implementing preventative measures to enhance overall operational excellence, will also be required. Your ability to navigate complex challenges, foster strong cross-functional collaboration, and maintain exceptional customer relationships will be instrumental in supporting Schou's commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Understanding customer requirements and addressing quality issues effectively.
- Secure that Schou has effective and aligned processes for claim handling.
- Build and maintain a superior communication set-up with selected customers
- Managing and responding to Quality Claim notifications from customers.
- Facilitating internal meetings for defined quality claims to ensure effective resolution.
- Documenting results and ensuring progress on quality claims.
- Maintaining transparent internal communication with the purchasing team, sales teams and the Service Department.
- Conducting root cause analyses to prevent recurring quality issues and sharing findings with the quality team and other relevant stakeholders.
- Promoting a culture of quality and driving initiatives to minimize the cost of poor quality.
- Secure that Schou has the needed KPI’s to drive change.
Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a proactive and skilled professional who meets the following criteria:
- Technical background with a strong understanding of product quality, quality systems, and customer-focused processes.
- Have a process driven mindset
- Have experience with end-consumer product quality.
- It is an advantage to have hands-on lab testing skills/know-how
- Have a curious mindset to identify failure types and assess customer risks.
- Excellent English and Danish communication skills and the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
- Proficiency in conducting in-depth root cause analyses and implementing solutions.
- Strong IT skills and a KPI-driven approach to quality management.
- Outstanding cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
- A cost-conscious mindset with a focus on reducing the impact of quality claims.
