As a Scrum Master, you will have the opportunity to be a servant-leader, guiding and coaching our Scrum Team to continuously enhance their way of working. Your main task will be to assist and coach the team, ensuring they can consistently deliver continuous value to our organization.
In this role, you will be promoting and supporting the agile framework within our organization. You'll utilize your knowledge to assist everyone understand agile theory, practices, rules, and values. By leveraging your management skills and in-depth agile knowledge, you will empower the team to reach their full potential and deliver effective project outcomes.
The role is based in our office in Bjerringbro, Denmark.
What is the job about?
Your role will be coaching a cross-functional development team. You will do so by guiding them to improve ways of working to maximize value. As you will be in a multi-team setup cross team disciplines like dependency management and impediments handling beyond your own teams are important to understand.
To ensure that you grow we do have a Scrum Master guild where you share learnings and ideas and can reach out to get support.
Your main responsibilities:
- Coaching the teams and cross functional collaboration
- Being cognizant about team health and act/guide the team to ensure they continuously improve the way of working.
- Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed.
- Contributing to Product Owners' understanding of product planning in an empirical environment. Assist the Product Owner in learning how to arrange the Product Backlog for the best value and contribute to their practice.
- Working closely with other teams delivering to the same program, where effective dependency management and removal of impediments is key.
- Supporting the Development Team in creating high-value products
- Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management. Assisting the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
- Causing change in the organization that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team.
Your background
Certified Scrum Master or equivalent and solid experience with this or generic, servant leadership is crucial to the job. A good knowledge within integrated product development and the technical disciplines we have like mechanical development, or System engineering is highly beneficial, but if you do not have this, we will together develop it.
We imagine that you have:
- Bachelor or master's degree in relevant areas or equivalent experience
- Great change management skills and are ready to participate in our ongoing change toward agile project management
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills that enable you to work with technical projects and at the same time have a wish to improve your skills together with other Scrum Masters
- A technical background, minimum a bachelor’s degree or similar within relevant area
- Experience working in an agile team
- Certified as Scrum master or equivalent experience
- Experience with Jira or other software development management tool
- Fluently oral and written communication skills in English
