Your role and responsibilities
Join ABB as an Income Tax Specialist & Country Travel & Expense (T&E) Lead, where you’ll combine your expertise in payroll tax and T&E processes to deliver high-quality support and solutions for a global organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure day-to-day processing of functional T&E requests while handling both complex and escalated tasks. Each day, you will guarantee support to internal/external customers and timely processing of information for all stakeholders. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering assigned T&E services in compliance with all procedures/policies that are in place and as per the defined Service Level Agreements. Other responsibilities in the role: • Assisting T&E Managers with consultation and communication of information on T&E policies and standards for assigned processes to internal customers. • Recommending enhancements and simplifications of existing T&E processes and procedures based on feedback from and experience with customers. • Providing information to relevant stakeholders by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations. • Supporting and coaching others in the team with defined tasks, while ensuring collaboration. Qualifications for the role
- A relevant Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of payroll tax experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Knowledge of payroll methods, end-to-end processing steps, and best practices; up-to-date knowledge of international & local tax laws.
- Experience with SAP and Workday are beneficial.
- Hands-on experience with multi-state and multi-company payroll.
- Experience of Travel & Expense policies and practical questions related to this in large organizations with high complexity
- Analytical, structured, communicative, process optimization
- Strong collaborative skills
- Fluent in English & Swedish
