Your new role
As a Risk and Compliance Senior Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that an organization’s risk management processes are robust, effective, and aligned with regulatory requirements. Your role involves overseeing controls and processes related to risk management, financial compliance, financial and operational risks, and fraud. You will be responsible for:
- Execute on the Global Finance Strategy to safeguard the business through proactive compliance.
- Protect and enable Lundbeck by securing a high level of financial compliance globally.
- Safeguard Lundbeck’s financial assets against intentional and non-intentional errors and fraud.
- Ensure continuous improvements on the processes and related oversight, providing valuable insight, potential optimization, standardization and automation identification and application.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for motivating and engaging the team on driving the compliance strategy and performance within Lundbeck.
- Overall responsible for ensuring financial compliance over more than 50 countries.
- Business partner and trusted advisor to Line of Business, share service center and headquarter functions.
- Responsible for the Risk Office, where the company’s risks are identified and mapped through our Enterprise Risk Management process.
- Responsible for continuous improvements, being a key player into the identification of standardization and automation possibilities in processes and controls.
- Responsible for supporting high management through Managing the Audit Committee Secretariat, ensuring that their responsibilities are met in a compliant and efficient way.
- Overall responsible for the Internal Control Framework’s maintenance, oversight, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure internal audits are planned and executed properly based on a risk management approach.
- Responsible for financial frauds response and investigations.
- Responsible for the Authorization and Signing Policies process and maintenance, including periodic evaluation of operational effectiveness.
Your future team
Join our dedicated Financial Compliance and Risk team within Group Finance, where we work collaboratively to protect Lundbeck’s financial assets and ensure compliance.
You will be one of our in-house professionals and be an active driver in our automation and optimization projects. You will join an international organization and work across Lundbeck’s global reach. You will be part of our specialized Group Reporting, ESG and Compliance, within Group Finance and work together with our professionals based in Denmark and in our share service scenter in Poland.
What you bring to the team
Our preferred candidate has the following professional and personal qualifications:
- 10 years + of overall combined accounting, auditing, and financial compliance experience.
- Experience in planning and executing audits and/or internal reviews in an international audit firm and/or an international company.
- Experience with processes and controls and international accounting requirements (IFRS).
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and commitment to producing high quality reports.
- Good IT skills and sees technology as an opportunity to improve the way we work.
- Is a true leader and team player sharing knowledge and driving the team to thrive.
- Business partner and trusted advisor, combined with comprehensive communication, analytical skills, and capacity to solve problems.
- Experience in fraud (desirable).
- Experience with business intelligence solutions (desirable).
- Good knowledge in SAP, Analysis for office (AFO), PPT.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
