Global Repair Operation is a part of Global Service. We aim to repair and deliver materials and services to Service teams across the Globe. We are continuously developing our repair business and strategy to enable us to improve the technical solution and design of the repair footprint.

We are continuously improving our effectiveness around the business while impacting the Vestas Sustainability agenda, becoming the Core of the Zero Waste Model of Vestas. Production Engineering Support is a support function in Global Repair Operation, where our highest priority is to support the business.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Contribute to analyse, define, validate and prioritize new tasks
  • Coordinate specific projects and tasks within technical solutions, NRI (New Repair induction), Technology Transfer and improvement initiatives within Lean, Standard Work, 5S, etc
  • Navigate cross functional and cultural in a matrix organisation
  • Prioritize, mitigate, communicate and align with your stakeholders
  • Ensure lesson learned and document best business practises
  • Working out of a production method with documentation, drawings, specifications, routings etc.

Qualifications

  • User knowledge of ERP systems (SAP GUI and PDMLink preferred)
  • Committed with capacity to take decisions in equal measures as being collaborative and having a stakeholder-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English and Danish, written and spoken
  • User knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams etc. and interest and skills within digitalisation and industry 4.0
  • Experience within a production environment and have technical understanding (mechanical, electrical or logistic and material flow skills)
  • Performance management: Shopfloor performance support within Safety - Quality – Cost
  • Experience with Materials and equipment such as BOM (Bill of Material), Tools, equipment, layout etc.)

  • Having a humble approach, that everyone needs to look, listen and learn from the experience within the organisation to move forward
  • High focus and understanding of safety, quality, Lean awareness, tools and awareness of risk management and mitigation
  • Continuous Improvement mindset focusing on improving capacity and capability constrains
  • Ensure lesson learned and document best business practices

Additional information
Your primary work location will be Videbæk, Denmark but could also be Lem, Denmark.
You should expect some travel activity, approximately 20 days per year.
