As a Category Manager, you’ll develop and execute short-, medium-, and long-term strategies for our Supplement offerings. Collaborating with our Innovation and Product Development teams, you’ll drive category growth and expand Fertin’s capabilities within strategic consumer needs platforms.
About the Role:
As a Category Manager at Fertin, you’ll be the vital link between Business Development and our functional teams, driving product development and prioritization. Your role is pivotal in shaping our product and category vision, ensuring impactful communication, and fostering innovation. Your key responsibilities will be within:
- Strategic Communication: Collaborate with Marketing to translate our product and category vision into compelling messages for customers and prospects.
- Insight Generation: Lead the charge in gathering consumer and shopper insights to enhance current offerings and guide long-term innovation.
- Pitch Perfect: Partner with Business Developers to craft and deliver persuasive pitches to customers, while supporting our Innovation & Product Development teams.
- Innovation Leadership: Define clear and achievable Target Product Profiles to drive product innovation.
- NPI Engagement: Actively participate in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, supporting Business Development Managers and their customers.
- Confident Communication: Engage with senior management and line managers to push the category agenda forward with clarity and confidence.
- Opportunity Translation: Turn consumer-driven opportunities into profitable, long-term business ventures.
- Business Case Development: Build and maintain robust product and category development business cases for internal reporting.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong commercial mindset.
- Proven ability to translate consumer insights into business opportunities.
- Experience in category management, product development, or a related field will be an advantage.
