Frontend Developer

We are looking for a talented Frontend Software Developer to join SKOV. If you want to be part of a locally based company with a global outlook that contributes to efficient and sustainable food production, then we have the job for you!

Your role
As a Frontend Software Developer at SKOV, you will work on exciting projects related to our digital solutions, Farm Management, in the cloud, ensure the daily operations of our Farm Management solution, including maintenance and bug hunting, and help and maintain the common look and feel across all areas of SKOV together with our UI/UX team.

What profile are we looking for?

• You have a bachelor or master's degree in computer science or engineering or a related field.
• You are an experienced frontend software developer (3-5 years+) that understands the challenges in designing, implementing, and running cloud-based services.
• You have experience in delivering solutions using continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• You have experience in React, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
• You have experience with Azure or other cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• You have experience with Event-Streaming Platforms such as Apache Kafka or Azure Eventhub.
• You know the importance of data security.

What would you be doing?

• Maintain and develop our shared group-wide design system.
• Develop state-of-the-art frontends that enable our customers to use and gain the benefits from our computer vision and data analytics solutions.
• Maintain, improve, and provide support on our solutions as our DevOps approach is “you build it, you run it, you own it.”
• Participate in chapter work with other development teams in our group.
  Impact new product development by being curious and customer-focused.
