The Data Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our data infrastructure. The data engineer will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that data is accessible, reliable, and ready for analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Developing and maintaining our Data Science Platform
• Building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines using Python and Airflow to ensure high data quality and timely delivery
• Writing and maintaining documentation and make it available to relevant stakeholders
• Automating software deployment and monitoring using tools like Ansible and Grafana

Potentially relevant experience:

• A degree in IT, computer science or equivalent experience
• Hands on experience with development and operations of software systems in a Linux environment
• Strong experience with Python and SQL
• Comfort working from command line interfaces and with automation technologies like Ansible
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Experience in the field of biology is a plus, but not a requirement
