Why this role is important to us
Delivery Excellence comprises several teams within Professional Services, all of which participate in or support client deliveries across our SimCorp service suite, including advisory/consultancy, managed services and business services. As the Senior Director, Cloud Onboarding Project Management, you will lead our global team of Project Managers who are focused on onboarding our clients to the cloud infrastructure and successful transition into operations. This includes greenfield implementations, business service clients, and the migration of existing clients.

In addition to managing the team, you will work directly with our clients, for example, in project governance steering committees. Internally, you will manage stakeholders across related parts of our global organization, driving the adoption of processes, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the project management practice and Delivery Excellence. You will report to the Head of Global Delivery Excellence and work closely with the SaaS operations and cloud infrastructure teams in each of our Market Units in EMEA, North America and Asia-Pacific.

What you will be responsible for

  • Managing the Global team of Cloud Onboarding Project Managers
  • Strategic planning and alignment of projects with the broader SimCorp organization, including managing pipelines, resource allocation, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Accountable for effective Governance and Risk Mitigation and Resolution across the project portfolio
  • Promoting adoption of PM standard processes, best practices and artefacts, encouraging a network of knowledge sharing in the global PM community and great career experiences
  • Collaborating with the SaaS organization to improve and adapt processes to support effective delivery throughout the full project lifecycle and into operations
  • Contributing to the Delivery Excellence team to ensure the adoption of Delivery Excellence standards and supporting the global team culture of collaboration, transparency and data-driven decision-making

  • Proven track record in managing and driving client projects in the software, Financial Services or IT Services industry, with global experience with cloud/hosted solutions
  • Great coordination and collaboration skills, creating engagement and followers
  • Very good communication, influencing, conflict management and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in English both verbal and written
  • Coming to SimCorp’s office on 2 days a week as per our hybrid work model
