If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is currently looking for a Senior Associate to join their Client Relationship Management team (sales support and client service) to join our Investor Relations and Business Development (IRBD) function based in Copenhagen.

As our new Senior Associate for the Client Relationship Management team, you will become an integral part of our IRBD function. IRBD is responsible for all investor facing activities and business development from product and fund design, fundraising, investor onboarding and ongoing service of investors. The function is international, diverse and consists of around 60 professionals from different backgrounds, including investment banking, management consulting, and law firms, based in 6 offices across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.
The Role
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will plan, carry out and, project manage fundraising activities e.g. investor meetings, roadshows, events, conferences, etc. in close collaboration with the Investor Relations Team (IR Team).
Key responsibilities include:
- Focus on coordinating and managing engagement and travel plans, thereby making the Distribution and the non-Investor Relations team more efficient in their work, enabling them to focus on the dialogue with the investors. This includes regional logistics, planning and execution as well as being the one-point-of-contact for the IR Team
- Plan and prepare investor meetings on behalf of the IR Teams
- Be one of the investor’s points of contact for all queries during the fundraising process particularly those that are administrative in nature
- Plan and execute larger regional and global investor-facing events together with the respective IRBD functions
- Work with fellow CRM team members to oversee onboarding of investors that are committing to CIP funds and solutions and ensure investors experience quality client service on an ongoing basis throughout their commitment to CIP’s funds.
- Handle ongoing inquiries from existing investors in alignment with the relevant teams within IRBD and the wider CIP organization
- Ensure high data quality and accuracy in Client Relationship Management system to provide insightful information to support fundraising activity and informed choices
- Conduct market analysis globally as input to CIP’s fundraising strategies across each of its regions
- Take part in shaping the global CRM team
You
We are looking for a motivated and collaborative team member holding a relevant degree within Economics, Finance, Business, or other related fields and a minimum of 3-5 years of full-time experience from a role within a client facing business – experience from a financial institution or Private Markets is valuable.
Key qualifications include:
- Engaged and versatile - the work environment at CIP is busy and complex
- Structured, thorough and with a high attention to detail
- Solid project management with a clear ability to prioritize tasks in a stimulating environment across a wide range of work streams/projects with changing priorities
- Client skills – experience of managing client relationships directly with good client-facing communication and written abilities
- Ability to operate operational processes and projects continuously and efficiently
- Knowledgeable with systems (e.g. CRM – DealCloud, Salesforce, etc.) to ensure high data quality and actionable information
- Professional, service-minded, and motivated to work in a growing international organization
- Substantial experience with Excel and PowerPoint
