The position
We are looking for a person experienced with Aveva PI, to join us as a System Manager.
As a System Manager, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining IT systems used across API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) departments in Kalundborg and specifically in our newest greenfield API project, M3. In this position you will ensure that the implementation, testing, and validation of the PI system and interfaces meets all compliance and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the M3 IT, Automation, and Robotics team and the engineering partner on the project.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Systematically maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory frameworks.
- Performing reviews and driving life cycle management to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.
- Support the M3 project activities related to PI Systems and interfaces.
- Running small projects to ensure that our cross-site IT systems meet production and external requirements.
- Managing the expectations of customers, system owners, end-users, quality assurance personnel, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborating with vendors to ensure deliverables and services are by agreements.
Qualifications
We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you have the following attributes then you could be the person we are looking for:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Science, or a similar field.
- Have 3+ years of relevant experience in IT system administration or in IT system management.
- Have experience in some for the following: risk management, user access management, change and release management, archiving and retention, and periodic system evaluation(PSE).
- Experience with industrial systems within the Pharma industry or other highly regulated industry (GMP) preferred.
- Experience with Aveva PI is preferred.
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken is a requirement.

About the Department
You will be joining a team of colleagues in the IT Solutions Center of Excellence, which is a part of DDIT PS API Production Systems. API IT is responsible for driving IT/OT security and compliance within our production IT Systems. We encourage professional sparring and best practice exchanges within our internal network of IT system managers and our central IT organization.
