The position
As an Associate Manager of the Technical Operations team, you will head up a new team and set up the technical operations towards our contract manufacture. Your main task is to support our area in meeting its project commitments related to progress, deadlines, and transparency for stakeholders. Your team contributes with project engineering and technical expertise, provides technical expertise in setting up new equipment at current and future business partners in different technical areas (e.g., IT/OT, manufacturing, sterilization, cleanroom, and validation). You should also expect to play a key role in navigating with stakeholders, who also deliver resources in terms of competences and capabilities for our projects. This includes both internal departments and being on top of external consultant companies. This team is also a key in operating current contract manufacturer of pen needles. This lies currently within sterilisation and cleanroom, but will expand in the future to cover several areas of responsibility.
In this position you may expect 20-30 days of travel.
Qualifications
To succeed in the position, you:
· are familiar with working in projects. Either as Project Manager, Engineer or similar.
· have excellent communicative skills in English.
· have a strong focus on mentorship and team collaboration and are dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusivity and belonging.
· are confident in working with stakeholders at various levels within an organization and are dedicated to fostering inclusive partnerships and diverse collaboration.
· demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills and can interact with suppliers and contract manufacturer around the world.Eager to establish a new team and setup new process
· have a degree in engineering – bachelor, candidate or similar is an advantage.
It will be an advantage if you have knowledge of medical device production and GMP – perhaps even knowledge within qualification and validation of equipment and processes.

You can work in a complex environment with constant changes and a high level of independence in prioritisation and planning execution.
About the team
The Technical Operations team consists of 8 highly competent and engaged employees who ensure world class support within project execution. The team is part of Global Contract Manufacturing Devices with expertise that spans across a wide range of responsibilities, from managing external supply chains to external production and sourcing of high-quality medical components and needles. We are organised in 6 departments, primarily located at Site Hillerød and Site Hjørring, and with more than 200 employees dedicated to ensuring the supply of medical devices to Novo Nordisk.
