The Team
The role will be direct supervisor of six Group professionals and have a dotted line to seven “local” P&C partners across our 10 countries, focusing on the entire people journey at Heimstaden. You will drive operational efficiency and create lasting strategy value across all people related topics. You will report to our Co-CEO.
You Role in Our Team
The Director of People & Culture plays a crucial role in shaping the workforce and aligning people strategies with the company’s goals.
You will play a vital role in our success by providing:
• HR Operations & Shared Services
Oversee HR functions with a focus on efficient operations, standardization, and implementing a shared service model across markets.
Evaluate and optimize HR systems (e.g., Workday) and introduce new tools for payroll and organizational control.
• Workforce Alignment & Process Development
Ensure a committed, aligned workforce by refining core people processes to support long-term organizational growth.
• Employee Engagement & Retention
Develop action plans to improve engagement, analyze turnover rates, and implement targeted retention strategies, with a focus on high-performing and high-potential employees.
• Cost Efficiency & Service Delivery
Measure and enhance HR cost efficiency, streamline processes, and leverage technology to improve service delivery times.
• Internal Mobility & Career Development
Promote career development initiatives, track internal promotion rates, and facilitate internal mobility to support employee growth.
• Workforce Planning & Productivity
Monitor metrics like revenue per employee and headcount ratios, implementing programs to improve workforce efficiency and productivity.
• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
Analyze and improve diversity metrics, develop targeted recruitment and retention strategies, and foster an inclusive culture.
• HR Technology & Process Improvement
Drive HR process improvements through increased utilization of technology, automation, and digitization, ensuring streamlined operations.
• Compliance & Risk Management
Align HR practices with labor laws and company policies, manage legal risks, and proactively minimize disputes to maintain a compliant work environment.
• Compensation and benefits
Set compensation strategies and see them implemented across our markets to incentivize and balance optimal performance
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone with:
- Entrepreneurial Spirit with a Hands-on and proactive approach, capable of taking ownership and executing independently.
- Commercial Understanding with solid grasp of business dynamics, including finance, statistics, and analysis.
- Growth Mindset and hungry to learn and grow, ambitious, and curious about new challenges.
- Proficiency in verbal and written business English, fluency in any Scandinavian language is a plus.
