CDD Manager/Director to join M&A team at Monitor Deloitte
Deloitte
Company Description
With more than 3000 employees Deloitte is the largest audit and consultancy firm in Denmark. We tailor solutions across Audit, Tax, Financial Advisory Services, Enterprise Risk Services, and Consulting.
Are you a top performer working in the intercept between strategy and M&A, but want a change of scenery? Do you value a flexible and team-oriented atmosphere, yet want to be challenged and drive real impact? Then you may be the new addition to our team. We are looking for high achieving Managers/Senior Managers/Directors to help shape our growth journey while working on some of the biggest transactions in the Nordics, primarily within the area of M&A strategy and Commercial Due Diligence.
About the team
We are the leading end-to-end M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) advisor in Denmark and our team’s projects typically vary from M&A strategy, due diligences, carve-outs, separations, and post-merger integrations. When joining us, you will become part of a vibrant and diverse team of approximately 25 consultants - all joined by our shared passion for the different aspects of M&A. Our Deal Transformation team is a part of Deloitte’s newly formed Strategy, Risk and Transactions Advisory business unit in which we sit in the M&A team with Corporate Finance (CF) and Transaction Service (TS).
You will primarily work within our M&A strategy/Private Equity business area, focusing on strategic M&A projects, commercial due diligence and building sound value creation plans. We are primarily serving mid-market and small/mid-sized deals. You will work out of our Copenhagen office.
Job Description
We offer a young, vibrant team with an entrepreneurial vibe, flat hierarchy with plenty of opportunities to shape the team, continuous learning through our M&A Academy, and the most comprehensive knowledge on M&A in Denmark.
In your role you will be expected to create perspectives on new deals, speak with potential buyers, define scope and drive CDDs and M&A strategy projects, and train and coach your younger colleagues. We pride ourselves in having a sustainable work/life balance.
Qualifications
- 3-7+ years of experience with M&A strategy and commercial due diligence from leading strategy consulting firms – either currently or in the past
- You love (or miss) the vibrant space of doing commercial due diligence.
- Initiative and ownership, enabling you to work in a fast-paced environment with varying tasks.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Even if you do not see yourself in all the bullets above, we still encourage you to apply if you believe your skills can make an impact on our team.
