Senior Contract Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll manage supplier contracts for our US projects, conduct claims, negotiate variation orders, and be in daily contact with suppliers and stakeholders such as the project manager and scope leads. You'll also handle commercial aspects, including strategy development and managing contract obligations such as payments. You’ll be part of the Northeast Program (NEP) Procurement team where you, together with your colleagues, will be part of the contract management community that shares lessons learned and similar concepts. You’ll work closely with your peers in the US, Poland, the UK, and Denmark, as well as the project team in the US and Europe, within a highly collaborative environment where we’re committed to the common goal of ensuring project success. You’ll play an important role in:
- implementing contract variations together with suppliers
- managing the obligations and rights in our contracts
- clarifying and settling contract claims from both parties
- collaborating with our global pool of suppliers to ensure mutual success
- anticipating risks and define effective strategies to mitigate them
- ensuring we have the right level of provisions.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have good communication skills, both verbal and in writing
- have experience managing contract obligations for large-scale construction projects, e.g., related to manufacturing, or in connection with the installation of components
- have a strong understanding of the different contracts, risk management, and cost control
- possess strong negotiations skills
- understand change management processes
- are well-acquainted with managing large groups of stakeholders across a large and international company.
