Minerva Imaging is at the forefront of R&D in the theragnostic area advancing new, improved and lifesaving drugs for seriously ill cancer patients. To support our growth, we are looking for an imaging technician for our dynamic imaging team. The imaging team operates as a central core function across small and large animal pharmacology departments supporting studies from early target validation, selecting lead candidates, to monitoring therapeutic efficacy using various advanced imaging modalities.
As an imaging technician, you will play a crucial role in our efforts to become an “Imaging centric” - the preferred partner for global pharma and biotech companies for translational imaging studies.
About the position
As an imaging technician at Minerva Imaging, you will be a key member of our highly interdisciplinary imaging department dedicated to accelerating translational drug development programs with molecular imaging. The position is in a dynamic and exciting team of dedicated technicians and scientists collaborating closely in the team as well as across departments on timely conduct of imaging studies delivering high-quality data. You will work with cutting-edge molecular imaging equipment like PET/SPECT/CT, MRI, ultrasound, optical and autoradiography in our new state-of-the-art facility where we continuously expand our capabilities.
The ideal candidate possesses practical experience with different imaging modalities; however, the most important thing is interest, and a willingness to learn. You will be part of an experienced team, and your role will, among other things, include:
- Operating preclinical and clinical imaging modalities (PET/CT, SPECT/CT, MRI, ultrasound, optical and autoradiography)
- Setting up imaging protocols and new methodologies in collaboration with relevant experts in the organization
- Quality assurance of imaging equipment and procedures
- Analyzing and reporting of image data together with imaging scientists
- Optimizing workflows & procedures related to image acquisition and data analysis
- Participate in interdisciplinary projects and activities across departments in the organization
Qualifications
- Background as a laboratory technician, biomedical laboratory scientist, radiographer or equivalent.
- Prior experience with imaging modalities like PET/CT, SPECT/CT, MRI, ultrasound, optical and autoradiography is advantageous
- Prior experience with handling of laboratory animals is advantageous
- Proactive, self-motivated, and independent working style
- Ability to work flexibly across projects and adapt to new priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with radioactive isotopes is advantageous
- Our business language is English, so we expect you to speak and write English
