Then join Software Development in Group Technology & Innovation in Bjerringbro, Suzhou or Chennai. We are looking for a Lead Software Architect for embedded software development. You will become part of a team of seven cross-organisational architechts focusing on different aspects of developing the embedded software for our platform and products. The team supports our complete embedded software development organisation with system architecture, and you will be part of a function developing the firmware across our product portfolio. You will use your vast experince within embedded software development to shape our product and system architecture, and develop our way of working.

What is the job about?
You will have a varied and diverse job where you have cooperation with the architecture team and stakeholders across our organisations ensuring alignment on the architecture tasks assigned to you.
Your main responsibilities:
- Drive software product and system architecture tasks for selected features going across products, subsystems, Apps, cloud and production
- Governance and coordination interfaces across our products and solutions
- Become an expert in our feature model based on Pure Variants, understanding how to create traceability between artifacts across our workflow
- Be part of our architecture governance in software development
- Participate in process improvement within software development
- Participate in research projects in university cooperation within software development methods
- Be available for development teams to clarify and discuss ambiguities
It is an advantage if you have solid understanding in development of embedded systems including working with data-based API’s and a plus if you have application knowledge from HVAC systems or water systems. You collaborate with colleagues in both Denmark, India and China.
Experience in some of the following areas would be an advantage:
- Software Product Line Engineering and software platform development
- Knowledge and understanding on Systems Engineering, INCOSE certification is an advantage
- Understanding of security in embedded systems including relevant industry standards (e.g. IEC 60335, IEC 62443, ETSI 303 645)
- Knowledge on programming languages like C and Python
- Pure Variants, IBM Doors, git, Jenkins, C4 software documentation

Your background:
You have a solid experience in the embedded software development domain and have a genuine interest in working within software system architecture. Any understanding of the products we deliver is highly beneficial, and you probably hold a relevant master’s degree. Also, you have excellent communication and facilitation skills, enabling you to work with software professionals on technical projects.
