Senior Engineers - HVAC

We are looking for Senior Engineers to strengthen our HVAC department in Stavanger. As an Senior HVAC Engineer you will define, specify and design HVAC systems and be a key in our exciting and growing portfolio.
About the position
In this position, you can hold various roles within the HVAC discipline. Be responsible for deliveries in the projects and work closely with other disciplines to achieve the project’s goals.
Responsibilities and tasks include
- System design philosophy/design basis for HVAC systems with respect to functional requirements,
control philosophy and operational philosophy - Package Responsible Engineer
- Coordinate and follow up of the HVAC system design and the area design
- Ductwork design
- Calculations of air flow rate based on ventilation requirement and heat emissions
- Cooling calculations
- Selection of HVAC equipment with regards to capacity and feasibility
- Technical Inquiries for HVAC equipment and Bulk
- Ensure coordination of the HVAC design with other disciplines
Qualifications
- Bachelor/master’s degree within HVAC or equivalent
- Proven experience within HVAC system design
- Ability to understand and implement requirements stated in new standards
Personal qualities
- Fluent communication skills in English, Norwegian skills is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Have the ability to develop within untraditional conceptual thinking and challenging established truth
- High level of personal efficiency and ability to manage work situations to produce required deliverables
