We are looking for Senior Engineers to strengthen our Automation department in Stavanger. As a Senior Automation Engineer you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions for industrial projects. Also, will you be responsible for system design and integration in the Safety and Automation systems, and follow-up suppliers’ packages and other automation systems in the energy market.
About the position
In this position, you will be responsible for the discipline’s deliveries in the projects and work closely with other disciplines to achieve the project’s goals. In addition to design tasks in the office, you will also travel for field inspections onshore/offshore.
Responsibilities and tasks include
- SAS system design
- Preparation of discipline documentation such as SCDs, C&E, Indexes, etc.
- System design, interface and follow up automation network on energy related facilities
- Interface solutions design
- Automation Package preparation towards suppliers including support, testing and follow-up
- Design and improve solutions according to client’s requirements
- Multidiscipline Interface and collaboration with site
- Prepare and complete engineering documents and data registers
Qualifications
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree within relevant area.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Automation engineering.
- Experience from automation and SAS system, design activities and reviews.
- Experience from automation system design in the different phases of engineering.
- Experience and deep knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, DNVGL and IEC.
