Instrument Engineering in Stavanger is looking to strengthen the team with new Senior Instrument Engineers. You will play an important part in designing, implementing, and optimizing measuring and control instruments for industrial projects.
About the position
As an Instruments Pioneer at Aibel, you will you be responsible for instruments solutions design and follow-up suppliers’ packages for the energy market. Also, you will be responsible of preparing and reviewing Instrument discipline documentation. Responsibilities and tasks include
- Instrument design and follow up
- Technical responsible for vendor packages including design, testing, review and follow-up
- Produce engineering work packages
- Multidiscipline Interface and collaboration with site
- Site surveys and participation in reviews
- Include and manage data into engineering databases
- Define and procure instruments related MTO
Qualifications
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree within relevant area
- Long relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education
- Minimum 3 years in Instruments engineering
- Knowledge of rules and regulations for Instruments
- Experience with offshore surveys, is desirable
Personal qualities
- A Pioneer with collaborative spirit and great desire to develop and learn in the organization
- Good communications skills in Norwegian (preferable) and English, both orally and in writing
- Systematic and organized approach to job assignments
- High level of loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
