We are looking for Experienced Engineers to strengthen our Technical Safety department in Stavanger. As a technical safety engineer, you will be responsible for technical safety in our designs and work in different phases, including concept development, studies at different levels, and support tenders.
About the position
In this position, you can hold various roles within the Technical Safety discipline. Be responsible for deliveries in the projects and work closely with other disciplines to achieve the project’s goals.
Responsibilities and tasks include
- Technical safety design in projects
- Lead safety discipline in teams
- Participate in development of methods and potential tenders
- Keep updated on rules and regulations
Qualifications
- Higher technical education bachelor/master’s degree
- Knowledge of a range of technologies and solutions within technical safety
- Good knowledge of rules and regulations for technical safety in design
- Fluent communication in English and preferably Norwegian
Personal qualities
- Have a keen interest in solving engineering tasks, challenging established solutions, and developing new designs
- Can work independently and lead discipline work
- Enjoy collaborating in expert groups with multidisciplinary understanding
- Value participation in creative processes
