Sr. Facility Management Engineer - Infrastructure Site Planner for our Facility Team

The Facility management team at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies is seeking an experienced Sr. Facility Management Engineer specializing in infrastructure site planning with strong project management skills. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in facility management and infrastructure design, combined with the ability to lead and execute complex projects effectively.

The job and your key Responsibilities
The position is based in Hillerød, offering an opportunity to work in a vibrant and growing community known for its innovation and quality of life.
You will be responsible for data generation, solutions and changes related to expansion projects in direct connection with the existing operations, and you will lead the planning and execution of infrastructure site development projects, ensuring that they align with the company goals and site standards.
You will also conduct comprehensive site assessments and feasibility studies to optimize facility operations. This means that you should thrive with having many different stakeholders, and it is expected of you that you know how to navigate in a changing and complex project landscape.
Additionally, you will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery and you will utilize advanced project management techniques to track project progress and implement corrective actions as needed, just as you will develop detailed project documentation and reports for stakeholder communication.
Analyzing regulatory and environmental requirements to ensure project alignment with legislation and sustainability goals, can include municipality contact and understanding of the BR18.
Collaboration with internal teams and external contractors to develop strategic site plans is a natural part of the day to day job.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in facility management and infrastructure planning.
  • Proven experience in project management with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations, is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of working with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or a similar credential.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
  • Experience within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is an advantage.

The Team
Overall, you will be a part of the Facility Management strategical projects team which consists of 6 people, highly skilled within each of their areas. The different areas of responsibility in the Facility department are facility maintenance, site services, canteen-, gowning-, cleaning services, pest control and fire safety etc. and Property and building management herein infrastructure and space planning.

We meet with each other in social events and have the possibility to work from home, all dependent on nature of tasks and program.
