Business Improvements and Processes is a department within the Project Management Office (PMO) in Customer Project Execution (CPX) under the Northern and Central Europe (NCE) business unit at Vestas. The aim of the PMO is to support the Region in the effective execution of onshore and offshore customer projects. Business Improvements & Processes will ensure the regional Customer Project Execution business has the necessary framework, processes and systems to carry out the projects. The area of Business Improvements & Processes will also support the business in running improvement initiatives and ensure alignment of these initiatives with Global Customer Project Execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track business improvement projects to assist our project teams in delivering customer projects within NCE CPX
- Act as a project lead and ensure that the scope and targets of the improvement projects is clearly defined
- Monitor project progress and performance on a continuous basis
- Manage and collaborate with project team and project SteerCo
- Ensure effective project planning and control
- Evaluate and prioritize new project requests
- Create and maintain project documentation and ensure all reporting requirements are met on time and to the required quality
Qualifications
- Academic degree in business administration, economics, engineering or equivalent supplemented by Project Management training and accreditation is a benefit
- Solid Project Management experience from a consultancy environment with 2-3 years of experience in defining ways of working
- Implemented work methods or related processes for a large project or multiple smaller projects simultaneously.
- In-depth understanding and experience working with the Vestas (or other OEM) Value Chain will definitely benefit you in this position
- Experience from a similar industry and from large scale construction projects. Experience working with IT projects is also considered beneficial as many improvement projects contain certain IT ingredients.
- Fluent in English and combine your language skills with professional multi-cultural communication skills

- The ability to prioritize in a time-sensitive situation will be key for this role
- Ability to work across various parts of the value chain, identify and involve the needed business stakeholders
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Professional communication and stakeholder management skills at various levels of the organization
- Good business process understanding and ability to work cross functional
- Continuous improvement mind-set as well as a solution-oriented and foresighted approach to your work

The primary work location is Hamburg in Germany or Aarhus in Denmark.
