Business Intelligence Analyst
Saxo Bank A/S
Copenhagen, Denmark
Our Commercial Finance team is looking for two Business Intelligence Analysts to work within the sub-function Analysis and BI, with one position at senior level and one at junior level. The roles will be key in defining the next steps and maintaining the current daily reporting through Power BI. You will work closely with internal stakeholders of the business to improve our decisions and processes. This opportunity is for you if you thrive in the technical aspects of Power BI, take pride in making reports easy to use and with clear communication, and you enjoy working with passionate and competent team members in a dynamic environment.
In Commercial Finance we analyse and review Saxo’s commercial performance and report to relevant internal stakeholders. We help shape the commercial agenda in collaboration with our Group Commercial through reporting and business partnering.
The team currently consists of four analysts with one team member in the Netherlands and the rest working out of our headquarter in Copenhagen. We are all curious people, and we constantly strive to improve our understanding of causalities and through that what drives the business forward. We work both autonomously and as a team, but always diligently as we understand our responsibility as gatekeepers of the numbers. The team is a diverse group with different backgrounds and interests which makes the day full of interesting discussions. We value an environment built on trust, transparency and ownership. As our new Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be reporting to our Head of Commercial Analysis and BI.

How to succeed
In order to be successful as our new Business Intelligence Analyst, you are curious, a logic thinker and attentive to detail. You are able to translate complex data into bite size insights and challenge stakeholders in their request. As a person, you want to be smarter than you were yesterday and enjoy sharing learning with your team members to ensure that we all work smarter - together. It also doesn’t hurt to have a good understanding of math and modelling, and a great sense of humor!
