Do you want to be part of the Sales Excellence team with a focus on driving commercial development projects together with our KOMPAN colleagues around the world?

We are looking for a Sales Excellence Lead, who will drive the implementation of our sales excellence tools and process optimization in our global KOMPAN markets through digitalization and automation.

Global role with many stakeholders
We are looking for a commercially savvy profile with a solid business acumen to support the execution of the group's ambitious international growth strategy. You will be close to all important decision-making processes and through close collaboration will have the opportunity to be introduced to all the tasks and management processes that a professional management works with.

As a Sales Excellence Lead, you will lead a small team and be responsible for ongoing analyses in the commercial arena. In addition to pure sales excellence projects, the role will support our Group Business Excellence Director, who brings 8 years of experience from Tier 1 Management Consulting and reports directly to our CEO, in driving cross-functional projects under the wider "Business Excellence & Product Management" agenda.

Moreover, your main responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring best practice sharing between our global KOMPAN markets
  • Ad-hoc commercial analyses for Group Management
  • Preparing and driving International Management Meetings
  • Being hands-on in execution of strategic priorities, e.g. defining and implementing go-to-market model and related processes for new segments/verticals, developing and implementing new tools to drive further commercial success in the local KOMPAN Sales teams etc.
  • Working with many global stakeholders including country MDs, Sales directors, Sales reps and Inside sales reps
  • Collaborating with Group Marketing, Finance Business Partners and IT on tools and reporting development

Travel is expected to be approx. 30-60 days per year.

Building relationships across organizational boundaries
The ideal candidate has some experience from B2B and preferably from an industry with public customers and tenders. You bring a minimum of 5-7 years of experience from roles in business development, sales excellence or management consulting. Your educational background could be within business, social sciences or engineering - however, work experience is very important for this role.

As a person, you are very communicative and outgoing. You have a solid business understanding, good analytical skills and make high demands on your own efforts. You are familiar with digital tools and processes to optimize commercial processes, and you are strong with numbers.

You must be experienced in navigating successfully in a complex stakeholder environment. You are resilient, self-driven and able to challenge data and input you receive from the organization and management team. As a result of your persistence, your structured work style and your overview, you can prioritize and meet deadlines.

You are good at building relationships and can work across geographical and organizational boundaries. You are a super user of Excel and PowerPoint and work effortlessly with extracts and analyzes from modern ERP systems, as well as being able to communicate and present your presentations in both Danish and English.

Further, you can work from the office at HQ in Odense most days of the week.
