Are you passionate about building environmental data models and leveraging programming and analysis capabilities to drive impactful insights? Are you keen to play an essential role in supporting Novo Nordisk's ambitious sustainability targets? If so, then you might be our new Environmental Modeler Analysis working as part of the Environmental Data & Digitalisation Team, Analytics & Reporting in Product Supply Sustainability (PSS) at Novo Nordisk

The Position
We are offering an exciting and challenging role where you will contribute to the strategic priorities of Product Supply Sustainability by developing and maintaining environmental analytics, models and forecasts among others within energy, water, waste and Co2. This will include sensitivity and scenario analysis and further development and validation of models by investigating statistical significance and confidence intervals. Also, you will be engaged in a number of diverse analytics tasks supporting environmental strategic priorities, including front-end solutions for business intelligence. As part of this work, you will be managing data pipelines and version control across datasets, workflows and data products. In addition to this, a large degree of collaboration with areas across Novo Nordisk is needed. Stakeholder management is therefore also a key aspect of the role, requiring effective collaboration and alignment across Novo Nordisk.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Establish and drive development of environmental prediction models and environmental analyses
• Establish data-driven insights via data collected across systems and departments
• Build and visualize data in Power BI and Power App dashboards
• Support data quality and governance within the team, as well as data dependencies outside the team
• Collaborate closely with team members and colleagues throughout the organization, including environmental partners, production site representatives, system owners, etc.
• Translate organizational needs from production sites and corporate functions into data products

Qualifications
We are seeking a creative and innovative individual with a profound data and digital mindset. The ideal candidate should be result-oriented and possess the ability to foster collaboration across areas. Additionally, the candidate should have the following skills and experience:

• Proficiency in Python programming and Power BI & Power APP (or similar)
• Strong capabilities in data engineering, data analytics, and/or data science, and effectively visualizing and presenting data to influence decisions
• Sustainability knowledge and experience is an advantage, particularly within energy, water, waste, or plastic initiatives
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with fluency in English
• Relevant master's degree (or higher) in or related to IT, engineering, statistics, computer science, business administration or similar
• Preferred, but not required, experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS and unified analytic platform such as Databricks.

About the department
The Environmental Data & Digitalisation team is part of the Analytics & Reporting department anchored within the Product Supply Sustainability area of Novo Nordisk. The area is on the journey of reducing the environmental footprint by using data and digital solutions to support decisions. The Analytics & Reporting team is among other things responsible for environmental production data and the reporting of energy, water, waste and CO2 emissions from Production and distribution as well as developing state-of-the-art digital solutions to support therein. The team consists of highly skilled data analysts and scientists as well as business analysts who drive data analysis, insights and intelligence on the environmental sustainability agenda for our expanding production sites. The Team is currently consisting of 20 people in HQ Bagsværd and 2 colleagues in Bangalore, India. We work closely with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk to implement the Circular for Zero environmental strategy into Novo Nordisk production thus supporting our overall ambition to have zero environmental impact.
