The position
The job as Finance Partner offers good development opportunities and cross-functional collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders. You will be involved in projects and developing solutions to drive performance and productivity. You will help support senior management by creating structured and transparent insights based on data from the global manufacturing network.
As a Finance Partner at Novo Nordisk, you will:
- Play a key role in providing insights into performance and productivity to support key management decisions. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial analysis, enabling the management team to make informed strategic choices.
- Collaborate across a comprehensive network. You will work closely with various departments, to ensure alignment and drive performance. Building strong relationships and effective communication will be essential to your success.
- Analyse data from various performance metrics and highlight trends and correlations. You will utilise advanced analytical tools and techniques to interpret complex data sets, identify key drivers of performance, and present actionable insights to stakeholders. Your ability to translate data into meaningful recommendations will be crucial in driving business growth.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- A Master’s degree within Finance, Business, Strategy or similar.
- Knowledge about BI Tools such as Power BI and Tableau will be considered an advantage but not a requirement.
- Strong analytical and strategic skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement/management skills along with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Ability to gather, understand and condense complex information into decision material.
As a person, you embody a proactive and high-performance spirit, constantly focusing on development and learning opportunities. You are curious by nature, even within fields other than your own. You are structured and work with an analytical mindset.
Proficiency in English both verbally and in writing is a prerequisite in this job.
About the department
Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT) is the largest organisational unit in Novo Nordisk with approximately 30,000 employees globally. The area is responsible for the full supply chain of all Novo Nordisk products, the quality assurance of all Novo Nordisk activities, and for providing an IT platform that caters to all business needs.
Productivity Insights is part of PSQIT Finance & Business Support and consists of currently 11 colleagues. The department is essential in providing insights into cost structures, unit cost breakdowns, long-term financial cost insights, cost scenario analysis and insights on production performance and productivity for the full PSQIT organisation.
