The Position
As our new colleague, you will be owning and driving financial support to project managers and the project portfolio manager. You will continuously be identifying opportunities to improve our processes and tools, while ensuring financial compliance and high-quality data.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Responsible for financial control, support and sparring to project managers.
- Driving project controlling activities across our investment portfolio.
- Being part of a team centred around delivering excellent project support within Project controlling, project controls, data and health & safety
- General cost controlling, month-end closing, budget & forecasting, understanding and analysing financial deviations and ensuring financial compliance.
Qualifications
We imagine that you:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Have thorough experience as Financial Controller, Project Controller or similar, preferably from production.
- You are an experienced user of Excel and PowerPoint and preferably have some experiences in SAP and Alteryx.
- You master written and spoken English and Danish
You possess critical thinking, strong analytical skills and enjoy working closely with stakeholders. Moreover, you are a team player but also possess an independent drive and a can-do mindset.
You can balance a structured way of working with attention to detail with an ability to maintain overview and focus on what is most important.
About the department
M2 Projects and Strategy is a newly established department with specialized employees focusing on project execution, project support, portfolio management, and strategy within a production unit. We work in close collaboration across teams to make a difference for M2.
