Do you have a background in sustainability, circular economy and possibly waste management? If so, you may be our new Project Manager in Product Supply, Quality, and IT (PSQIT) Sustainability.
The Position
Anchored within the Project Office and part of the waste group, you will join a dynamic team of highly qualified Project Managers and Specialists in Energy, Water, Nature, and Waste. The team consists of 12 people who are responsible for driving sustainability programs and projects and translating requirements within Novo Nordisk A/S’s overall sustainability strategy - Circular for Zero (C4Z) on Energy, Water, and Waste.
Your tasks will involve specific waste projects in collaboration with other Project Managers and Programme Managers by developing sustainable solutions to support both future expansion sites and the existing production sites. The tasks include:
- In collaboration with the Programme Manager, lead specific projects on waste to develop circular solutions to be implemented across Novo Nordisk A/S and support the development of the strategic framework for guiding decisions on Waste in Novo Nordisk - Product Supply.
- Organizing and leading the project(s) and establishing collaboration with external stakeholders and suppliers in developing the circular plastic solutions, with the ambition and potential for wider uptake across the pharmaceutical sector.
- Coordinating solutions and implementations with other circular waste projects and sharing and reporting progress.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to share recommendations with management.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- MSc Degree in a relevant field combined with relevant work experience as a Project Manager.
- Preferably experience within project management in a complex organisation and collaborations with external stakeholders.
- Experience in building productive project teams with high engagement and satisfaction.
- Understanding of the circular economy and preferably solutions and opportunities in waste and resources.
- Preferably knowledge about Novo Nordisk A/S production and process, and insights into supply chains.
- Proficiency in MS Office products and working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and dashboards.
On a personal level, you have a high degree of integrity and can structure and prioritize your work independently while collaborating with your colleagues. You have a structured approach to problem solving with focus on detail and at the same time efficient in meeting targets and providing solutions. You have excellent stakeholder management skills and enjoy building long-lasting relationships across the network. You are highly motivated and energetic, with a willingness to take the required initiatives and lead projects. Contributing to a positive working environment is key to you.
About the Area
In PSQIT Sustainability, we currently have approximately 50 employees and are still growing. We are anchored in Strategy & Sustainability, as part of Product Supply Quality and IT (PSQIT. We are currently located our HQ office in Bagsværd, but will move to Høje Taastrup during 2025. This modern technology organisation practically drives the purpose of Novo Nordisk and delivers the highest quality to patients in an efficient and sustainable way.
