Head of Value Management Office – Join us in shaping the future direction of Norlys
Are you ready to play a central role in ensuring Norlys' future success as a unified organization? Do you want to lead the strategic alignment and value realization of key projects and initiatives across the portfolio? And are you a visionary and passionate leader driven by creating impact? Then you are the one we are looking for.
Common direction towards the future
We are an organization undergoing significant development and central changes, which require us at Norlys to work together and adapt strategically. With the acquisition of Telia Denmark A/S, there is a significant task in unifying our various development portfolios and establishing a new common direction. Therefore, we are establishing a Value Management Office to help ensure that we deliver tangible value across our portfolio.
You will be part of the management team in CDO Office. Here, you will lead a team consisting of 3-5 dedicated employees with several years of experience in portfolio management, resource planning, and more. Our values of Community, Responsibility, and Innovation live and are reflected in our behavior because we believe that well-being, competence, and performance go hand in hand.
As part of the job, you will have a broad interface across our organization and must establish strong collaborative relationships with all our business divisions, our Digital Transformation Office, key portfolio managers, Strategy & Transformation, Finance, and P&C. Therefore, it is essential for your success that you have the ability to build good relationships across our organization.
The team is located in Aarhus, but some trips to other Norlys-locations are expected.
Be the central role in forming our new department
As head of Value Management Office, you will lead our efforts in driving organizational value realization through effective portfolio management. This senior leadership role is responsible for establishing and overseeing the Value Management Office, ensuring that initiatives and investments align with organizational goals, maximize return on investment, and achieve measurable value.
In other words, you will be the architect behind this new function, as you lead the design, implementation, and operation of frameworks and practices that enable our organization to prioritize, measure, and optimize business value across strategic initiatives.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Lead the establishment and growth of the Value Management Office, developing and implementing the vision, structure and processes
- Collaborating with top management to help define and prioritize initiatives that deliver the most value
- Oversee and manage the portfolio
- Designing and implementing methods to identify, quantify, and track value delivery across projects, programs, and operational initiatives
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBR), where you are responsible for facilitating our QBR-process
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, facilitating decision-making and trade-offs based on value outcomes
- Promoting a learning culture by continuously refining VMO-processes, tools, and metrics to increase efficiency and effectiveness
With this greater responsibility also comes the opportunity to shape a new function that is crucial to the organization's success. With us, you will be included in a dynamic and constantly evolving business that strives to be a leader in digital innovation and technology. Also, it is noticeable that the job will offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
A leader who wants to be part of an evolving organisation
You are a visionary leader, a strategic thinker, have a good sense of humour, and work ambitiously with your tasks. You thrive in a job where two days are never the same and, in a company, where things are constantly changing and developing. Additionally, you are passionate about driving measurable results and promoting collaboration.
Your education is either a master’s degree in business administration, finance, strategy, or a related field. It is required that you have senior-level management experience and documented experience in value management, portfolio management, or program management in a complex organization. If you have demonstrated leadership in establishing or managing strategic governance frameworks, it is advantageous. Additionally, you also have experience with best practice and standards for financial management of portfolios.
We expect that you:
- Have skills in stakeholder management and are an effective communicator at all levels
- Deep knowledge within portfolio management and proficient in the use of portfolio management tools
