Associate Lead Financial Controller

Join us as an Associate Lead Financial Controller for our UK offshore business. You will be responsible for managing monthly figures based on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), preparing annual reports in accordance with local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and ensuring robust processes and internal control descriptions are in place and well-executed.

In this role, you will address complex accounting issues, play a significant part in process optimisation, and ensure our finances are managed professionally and effectively.

Join us as an Associate Lead Financial Controller for our UK offshore business, where you together with your colleagues will be responsible for managing monthly figures based on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), preparing annual reports in accordance with local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and ensuring robust processes and internal control descriptions are in place and well-executed.

As a team, we will address complex accounting issues, play a significant part in process optimisation, and ensure our finances are managed professionally and effectively.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • overseeing compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • planning and managing audits while maintaining a close dialogue with external auditors
  • delivering timely and high-quality outputs to internal and external stakeholders
  • enhancing process efficiency and compliance through continuous improvement
  • serving as a trusted collaborator for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring positive interactions and experiences.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are a chartered accountant with post-qualification audit experience
  • have extensive experience as an auditor, along with a background in a controlling department of a large international company
  • possess an analytical and logical mindset, capable of handling feedback constructively and thriving in a dynamic environment
  • excel in communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management; be results-oriented, goal-driven, and a problem-solver with a positive attitude
  • have in-depth knowledge of financial and accounting standards (IFRS, UK GAAP, and Companies Act)
  • are detail-oriented and able to critically evaluate the information you handle.
