Federal and Regulatory Affairs Intern
Ørsted
Join us in this role where you’ll work in federal government affairs and help advance Ørsted’s position in the US energy market. You’ll attend Washington-area briefings and meetings, draft internal and external correspondence, track legislative and regulatory proposals, and conduct research and analysis related to the energy transition.

You’ll be part of Federal and Regulatory Affairs where you, together with your colleagues, will build relationships with federal stakeholders, including Congress, federal agencies, and the Administration. As a team, we work in a mutually supportive environment and collaborate daily with internal and external stakeholders.
You’ll play an important role in:
- tracking legislative and regulatory proposals
- preparing communication and engagement materials
- supporting and attending meetings and events
- conducting research and analysis related to the energy transition.
To succeed in the role, you:
- strong writing skills
- research skills
- oral advocacy skills
- good interpersonal skills
