Student Assistant EHS

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student assistant with a keen interest in chemical safety. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in EHS practices, specifically related to the management of chemical safety programs.

As a Student Assistant, you will support the team in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining accurate records, and analyzing data. You will be involved in tasks such as the administration and updating of safety data sheets (SDS), technical support, courses planning and EHS communication.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Chemistry, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related fields).
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Preferably experience with SharePoint.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge:
    • Basic knowledge of chemistry and classification of chemicals.
    • Understanding of chemical safety principles and regulations.
    • Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets is preferred.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Positive mindset, able to handle many stakeholders and tasks.
    • Speak and write Danish and English fluently.
