Welcome to Operations
You’ll be part of Project Management and Strategy where you, together with your colleagues, will drive the implementation of the Operations business plan. In the team, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the renewables industry, network with industry professionals, and build an understanding of operations and maintenance of commercial-scale assets. You’ll primarily work with two experienced local project managers. As a team, we have a strong continuous improvement culture and work on strategic projects that impact the bottom line of our assets
You’ll play an important role in:
- supporting various workstreams within the Operations Performance Improvement Program, which aims to increase generation and revenue from our renewable assets
- supporting rollout of standardized key performance indicators for our operating assets and leading related data-driven workstreams
- planning and executing improvements in solar O&M, including capturing lessons learned from operating assets
- building your professional network within Orsted through informational interviews
- regularly updating Americas Operations leadership team on project and KPI progress.
To succeed in the role, you:
- are enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering, business or related major
- are a rising junior or senior
- can work independently and as part of a team
- are interested in renewable energy
- are a collaborator who looks forward to taking on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm.
