Ørsted

Join us in this role where you’ll experience a 10-week immersive summer program designed to strengthen your development through tailored programming focused on three key aspects: exposure to our core business, vision-centred and collaborative experiential learning, and professional development.

Welcome to Operations
You’ll be part of Project Management and Strategy where you, together with your colleagues, will drive the implementation of the Operations business plan. You’ll primarily work with two experienced local project managers. As a team, we have a strong continuous improvement culture and work on strategic projects that impact the bottom line of our assets

You’ll play an important role in:

  • supporting various workstreams within the Operations Performance Improvement Program, which aims to increase generation and revenue from our renewable assets
  • supporting rollout of standardized key performance indicators for our operating assets and leading related data-driven workstreams
  • planning and executing improvements in solar O&M, including capturing lessons learned from operating assets
  • building your professional network within Orsted through informational interviews
  • regularly updating Americas Operations leadership team on project and KPI progress.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering, business or related major
  • are a rising junior or senior
  • can work independently and as part of a team
  • are interested in renewable energy
  • are a collaborator who looks forward to taking on new opportunities and challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
