The position
As a Manufacturing Strategy Specialist, you will be responsible for developing long-term strategies at a global level, leading strategic projects based on rigorous analysis, and structuring relevant business cases. Your responsibilities will include:

• Formulate and refine Aseptic Manufacturing (AM) strategies to achieve Novo Nordisk's long-term objectives. Align strategic initiatives with the company's vision and goals, and collaborate cross-functionally to secure the necessary buy-in.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain, manufacturing sites, Aseptic Manufacturing Support and Technology (AMSAT), Aseptic Manufacturing Engineering (AME), and other stakeholders to define the pipeline of strategic projects that lead to value capture. Ensure project deliverables and timelines meet the objectives of the strategy.
• Offer insights and recommendations to senior leadership, supporting decision-making processes with well-researched advice and financial data.
• Represent AM Manufacturing Strategy in governance forums such as Platform Lifecycle Management and New Product Introduction (NPI) reviews.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, influence key decisions, and contribute to the success of Novo Nordisk on a global scale.

Qualifications
We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in strategy development or related roles, with demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and provide strategic advice to senior management.
• Experience in manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

As a person, you possess excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and communication abilities. You are a natural leader with strong problem-solving skills and expertise in stakeholder management. You are adaptable, capable of critical thinking, and can effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders.

About the Department
Our organizational unit, Aseptic Manufacturing Business Development & Support (AM BD&S) has around fifty colleagues, who play a role to set the direction, manage performance and ensure compliance in the business support functions that we lead. AM BD&S is an organizational unit in Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing (PS AM), which is the largest production area in Novo Nordisk. With more than 8,000 employees, PS AM is a truly global organization responsible for producing products for launches of all therapies in Novo Nordisk supplying 50% of the world’s insulin.
