The position
As a Site Master Plan Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining site master plans across all aseptic manufacturing sites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Site Master Plan Governance: Centrally lead the annual site master plan review cycle, ensuring adherence to the calendar and necessary updates. Maintain standards for the structure and content of the site master plans.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with global functions (e.g., Global Manufacturing, Supply Chain) to ensure the site master plans accurately reflect site operations and future vision. Engage with stakeholders, lead workshops, and effectively communicate across various global levels.
- Continuous Improvement: Capture and act on stakeholder feedback to recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Leverage digital tools to facilitate the use of site master plans.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, influence key decisions, and contribute to the success of Novo Nordisk on a global scale.
Qualifications
We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
- A few years of experience in manufacturing, strategy, project management, or supply chain. Proven experience in leading governance mechanisms.
- Familiarity with data analytics and digital tools. Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
As a person, you possess strong strategic planning, project management, and analytical thinking skills. You are adept at resource optimization, problem-solving, and communication. You excel in leadership roles, managing and motivating teams, and are adaptable to changing circumstances in a dynamic environment.

Our organizational unit, Aseptic Manufacturing Business Development & Support (AM BD&S) has around fifty colleagues, who play a role to set the direction, manage performance and ensure compliance in the business support functions that we lead. AM BD&S is an organizational unit in Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing (PS AM), which is the largest production area in Novo Nordisk. With more than 8,000 employees, PS AM is a truly global organization responsible for producing products for launches of all therapies in Novo Nordisk supplying 50% of the world’s insulin.
