If so, you could be our new Procurement Business Process Owner in our Procurement Excellence & Transformation team!
In Global Procurement, we have recently introduced an ambitious transformation roadmap for the coming years, which emphasizes a strong focus on defining and streamlining global procurement processes and the implementation of digital solutions to enable them.
This roadmap supports the overall agenda of Hempel to work with end-to-end business process ownership to ensure accountability and enhance efficiency across the organization and is governed by our business process owner (BPO) community.
What can you look forward to in this role
As the Procurement Business Process Owner, you will play a key role in our transformation. You will be the business process owner for our source-to-contract process and the procurement process responsible within the purchase-to-pay process, where you will work closely together with the end-to-end business process owner.
More specifically, your responsibility will be:
- Setting and supporting Hempel’s strategic agenda for source-to-contract and purchase-to-pay business processes and procurement system landscape
- Designing and implementing best in class processes within source-to-contract and purchase-to-pay (procurement relevant part)
- Driving continuous improvements, incl. simplification, automation and governance of source-to-contract and purchase-to-pay processes in close collaboration with procurement colleagues and stakeholders in the business process community
- Describing and maintaining an updated process documentation repository within source-to-contract and purchase-to-pay
- Identifying, communicating, and providing relevant training across Hempel
- Coordinating system configuration and maintenance with our digital team
You will report to the Director of Procurement Excellence & Transformation, and you will work closely with our management team in Procurement as well as many other stakeholders across the organization, including our business process owner community and the end-to-end business processes owner for procure-to-pay.
What are we looking for :
The ideal candidate will have a relevant educational background and +5 years of experience of working with purchase-to-pay processes and solutions in an international setting.
Additionally you have:
- Proven and extensive experience with purchase-to-pay processes and solutions. It is an advantage if you also have experience with source-to-contract processes and solutions as well (GEP, Coupa, SAP Ariba or similar)
- A track-record of driving changes that delivers improvements within purchase-to-pay
- Experience in defining requirements and implementing purchase-to-pay and source-to-contract solutions is an advantage
- Experience with procurement processes from a manufacturing company is an advantage
- Experience with at least one of Hempel’s ERP solutions (D365, SAP ECC (or S/4 HANA) is an advantage
- An innovative and agile mindset
- Great analytical skills
- Project and change management experience from an international setting
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills
