Senior RTR Accountant

The purpose of the Senior RTR Accountant position is to perform efficient and accurate general ledger accounting activities within designated geography for new SDC (SSC) structure.
The position requires a finance professional with prior experience of working in GBS or shared services organizations understanding record to report (RtR / GL) processes related to journals, provisions, accruals, managing month-close activities, taxes and financial statements.

Your Responsibilities:
- Perform work in general financial accounting activities of the organization, including financial transaction recording standards, control/reconciliation of accounts and records, cost accounting/budgeting, accounting reports/schedules for internal audiences (management reporting) and for external audiences (compliance reporting).
- Oversee administrative/transactional accounting work in SDC RTR Scope.
- Maintain and oversee the general ledger to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Month-End and Year-End Close: Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial information is up-to-date.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare for and manage external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is available and accurate.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, preparing and submitting tax returns accurately and on time.
- Internal Controls: Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Participate in ongoing projects and support improvement initiatives.
Our requirements:
- Field of study: Master degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience withing accounting; General Accounting and Financial Close.
- Prior experience working within Multinational or GBS/SSC organization.
- Knowledge and experience of ERP system.
- Understanding of Financial Accounting Standards (local and global) and Accounting Principles.
- Respect for timelines.
