Who we’re looking for
Topsoe is currently on a journey, implementing a new Product Lifecycle Management system (PLM). The journey has already begun, and we are now looking for an experienced Digital Product Manager to take over the responsibility of the chosen PLM solution (Aras). As Product Manager, you will own the application, incl. ensuring it running smoothly, supporting the users according to current and future needs.

You will be responsible for:

• Creating and maintaining the roadmap for the PLM system, incl. gathering and understanding business needs, ensuring a stable and robust IT platform running with healthy integrations (CAD, SAP, others), as well as safeguarding data quality
• Having continuous dialogue with key business stakeholders, to secure alignment between business expectations and PLM deliveries
• Gather business pain points and analyze business workflows, focusing on supporting a business on a growth journey, by delivering digitization initiatives that support the business in their daily work
• Act as PLM solution architect, heading the design and organizing the development, test and deployment of continuous functionality, incl. keeping a focus on scalability, security, reliability, and efficiency
• Be responsible for a well-documented solution; documenting design decisions, solution set-up, development etc.
• Manage multiple stakeholders in a complex business environment, cross-collaborate with various IT teams and oversee and produce communication around the PLM system (service messages, system news, maintenance activities etc.).

What you’ll bring
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner or Product Manager with a solid track record of managing IT applications, preferably within engineering applications, ultimately Product Lifecycle Management systems. To excel in the role as Product Manager for PLM, being able to communicate successfully to and with various stakeholders in a complex business environment is a must. In addition, being able to create and drive the product roadmap, understanding technical problem statements and ensuring a robust and stable application will be key to success.

Additional abilities:

• Previous experience from being either an IT Product Owner or Product Manager preferably within engineering applications
• A bachelor’s degree, most likely in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Ability to navigate in a complex business environment, managing multiple stakeholders, still keeping focus on where value is added
• Good technical understanding and experience from working with IT architecture, being able to guide and lead the way for a stable IT application serving the users
• Understanding of agile methodologies and product management, incl. experience in working with agile IT development
• Being proactive, but at the same time a listening and analytical person. You will serve as the PLM advisor and wing-person to the manager
• Fluent in English writing and speaking at a professional, technical level
• Having in-depth knowledge around, and proven experience from managing, PLM and/or CAD systems (foremost Aras) is an advantage.
