About the job
We are looking for a student assistant to join the Communications team at Hempel’s headquarters in Lyngby, Denmark. In Communications, our main tasks are to safeguard Hempel’s reputation, convey the excellent stories about our heritage, our people, brands and our contributions to crafting a brighter future with balanced coating solutions. We take pride in communicating about our global activities to internal and external audiences.
We expect you to be passionate about telling stories through different channels and in different formats. It would be great if you have an eye for good stories that will resonate with our partners. As part of the job, you will be involved in various internal and external events, produce content for internal channels as well as social media, websites, etc. You will be joining a dedicated communications team of ten colleagues. We work in an informal environment with straight forward communication, and plenty of room for learning on the job.
Working hours will be 15-20 hours per week with high flexibility around e.g. exams.
Your responsibilities will include
- Writing articles and crafting other content for intranet, website and social media
- Contributing to internal and external communications campaigns and events
- Answering incoming mails to our shared Group Communications inbox
- Ad hoc administrative support for the team
What does it take to become a Student in Communications at Hempel?
We are looking for someone who is currently studying in Denmark for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in communication, branding, marketing or similar.
We expect that you have
- A passion for storytelling with good writing skills
- Experience in crafting content like videos, editing photos, etc.
- Experience in PowerPoint and good presentation skills
- Good project management skills
- Ability to handle digital platforms
- A service-mindset
- Excellent English skills
