Ensuring the quality of complex systems
You will join BEUMER Group to ensure system integration, implementation and the quality of complex automated baggage handling systems that are installed across international airports as an essential part of daily operations 24/7.
As a Test Manager, you will be involved from the beginning of the projects. You will be an active member of the project management team, and your focus will be on quality, validation of requirements, and commissioning strategy. Furthermore, you will be involved in decisions on how and when mechanical, electrical and software components will be tested.
More specifically, your tasks will be to:
- Create an overall Integrated Test Plan (ITP) for the project
- Decide on a commissioning strategy
- Contribute to the schedule, budget, resource plan and site management plan
- Organize Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), both on emulators and physical test loops
- Lead the test and validation process on site
- Communicate with clients regarding the progress of testing
- Perform acceptance testing on site
Your profile
We see a Test Manager as a Project Manager with focus on testing, validation, and quality. You will operate in large and complex projects, where you cooperate and communicate with many stakeholders across the organization. You are robust, structured, and flexible; you have a keen cultural awareness and enjoy having a dynamic workday where you put your great collaboration skills to use. Furthermore, you:
- Have experience with testing of complex systems
- Understand software development processes and know your way around IT systems
- Are a trained technician with a background in mechanical, electrical or process engineering, and perhaps have some experience with conveyors, processing, automation and sorting systems.
- Are fluent in written and spoken English.
Moreover, we expect you to enjoy working on large and complex projects in an international environment. Your daily workplace is our head office in Aarhus but also on site for longer periods at major airports all over the world.
