Experienced Product Owner for Core Financing Platform Tribe

At Danske Bank, we are driven to deliver premium financial services and solutions to our customers. Our Core Financing Platform Tribe is driving the development of innovative financial products and services. We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our vibrant team and contribute to the evolution of banking.

Core Financing Platform tribe has the full responsibility for solutions that handles finance in the Nordics. Our solutions include web apps with cloud native services, business critical processes, data heavy backends with complex calculation algorithms and more. The tribe and role are deeply centered in IT.

We are working in agile squads in an international organization, and you will have an important role in running one of the Core Financing Platform squads. The activities will be performed in close collaboration with the representatives from the business where we continuously improve our products and our IT landscape.

As a Product Owner

You will be a vital part of building one of our new squads. Your squad will be responsible for delivering new functionality, maintaining a live system and to ensure we support Danske Bank’s new Forward’28 strategy and remain a compliant bank.

Being tech savvy while having a good business understanding will help tremendously while navigating the stakeholder landscape, where you will also be part of taking Danske Bank into a new era of technology.

As Product Owner, you will drive and prioritize the backlog and be overall responsible for delivering the outcomes agreed.

You will not only be accountable for the delivery of the product, but also help improve the way we work, test automation, facilitate the collaboration between our squads, and much more. You will also create vision for the squad, direct and guide the squad members to deliver on the product backlog, though you will not have HR responsibilities.

We Imagine You Have

• Prior experience as a Product Owner/Project Manager or similar role in the financial services industry.

• Solid understanding of agile methodologies and product management best practices.

• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

• Innovative mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field is beneficial.

• Advanced Danish and English communication skills.
