Manager for equipment support team:
Are you ready to take on a leadership role and guide a team of experienced skilled specialist and professionals toward achieving new levels of success? We are seeking a dedicated people manager for fostering both team and operational excellence to fill this crucial position in Drug Product technical support at our manufacturing site in Kvistgaard.

Reporting directly to the Director of Drug Product Technical Support, you will be responsible for a team of 13-16 direct reports.

Drug Product Facility Overview:
Our Fill & Finish facility conducts large-scale production processes including formulation, wash & sterilization, filling lines, freeze drying, inspection, labeling & packaging, and related processes.

The Technical department is organized in three teams, and the leadership team plays a key role in ensuring stable commercial production, evolving processes, validation, executing projects, and driving continuous improvement within our drug product manufacturing facility.

About Us:
Technical support department consists of 42 employees across the three teams.

We provide technical support to Bavarian Nordic's Drug Product Production and lead all projects within the drug product domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire the team by fostering a positive, inclusive culture, mentoring team members for growth, and ensuring the optimal performance

• Drive compliance with industry regulations, standards, and internal policies.

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with equipment and maintenance operations.

• Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and costs.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve processes and tools.

• Act as the primary liaison between your team and other departments, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, translating complex technical details into actionable insights.

Who We're Seeking:
To excel in this role, you will focus on supporting team alignment, motivation, and values, enabling your colleagues to perform effectively. This role will allow you to make significant contributions to equipment maintenance and projects.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in pharmaceutical production. Preferably with GMP compliance.

• A master’s degree in engineering, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, pharmaceutics, or related fields.

• Preferable experience within equipment validation and aseptic production.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage complex challenges under pressure.

• Knowledge of various engineering and maintenance disciplines.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Fluency in both Danish and English, both written and verbal.
