We are one of the fastest-growing podcast & audiobook platforms in Europe, and we are now looking for a Procurement and Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team in Copenhagen.

This is the role
Based out of our HQ in Copenhagen this role will play a key part in supporting the daily operations and assisting with process improvements across procurement, accounts payable (AP), and finance workflows. You will work closely with the Manager and collaborate with other departments at Podimo, with a special emphasis on the Content team, to ensure seamless and efficient operations. You will also be responsible for fostering strong relationships with vendors, particularly in relation to payments and creators, to build trust and ensure a positive and professional working relationship.

Your main responsibilities in this role:

• Assist the Manager in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of procurement and accounts payable functions.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of a purchase order process that aligns with business needs and fosters accountability.
• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Manage payment schedules and execute payments to vendors across multiple entities and currencies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, with a focus on ensuring smooth payment processes and fostering trust, especially with creators and suppliers who directly contribute to Podimo’s core offerings.
• Collaborate with other departments at Podimo, with a special emphasis on the Content team, to align procurement processes with operational and strategic goals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and help resolve discrepancies or disputes with suppliers.
• Maintain and improve documentation and reporting processes for procurement and AP activities.
• Assist with month-end closing by ensuring all AP transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Support internal and external audits related to procurement and AP processes.
• Contribute to identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

This is you
You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You are skilled at managing day-to-day operations while supporting process improvement initiatives. You’re a strong communicator and team player, capable of working across departments and building solid relationships with vendors and stakeholders.

Experience we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, procurement, or a related financial operations role.
• Familiarity with purchase order systems and invoice processing platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Open and clear communication style, with fluency in English (Danish is a plus).
• Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience in Business Central preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a fast-growing or international company is highly valued.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and AP compliance requirements

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
