Production Support Engineer at ZeroNorth
A Production Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers who are using the SMARTShip application. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, communicating solutions clearly, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, and provide technical assistance promptly and effectively.
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical problems reported by customers, identifying root causes and providing solutions or workarounds.
- Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, technical issues, and solutions in a ticketing system or knowledge base for future reference.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as product development, engineering, and quality assurance to resolve complex technical issues and escalate when necessary.
- Provide feedback to internal teams regarding recurring issues or product improvements based on customer feedback and experiences.
- Educate customers on product functionality, features, and best practices through training sessions or documentation.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Min 2+ years in Technical Support and Customer Support role with excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical customers.
- Strong understanding of Linux servers and networking concepts.
- Basic understanding of Databases like MySQL, Casandra. DeVOps tools like AWX, Resilio.
- Cloud technologies like AWS.
