Are you ready to take on a challenging role that will shape the future of LEO Pharma's portfolio? We are looking for an experienced strategist with solid commercial experience and passion for building the pipeline via exploration of emerging trends & scientific innovation to join our Global Early Asset Strategy team.
You will be part of Early Asset Strategy Team, the team of experienced and passionate professionals who operate at the intersection of business & science and are responsible for driving the commercial agenda across early-stage projects & Business development projects at LEO Pharma.
You will work closely with peers from the extended Early Asset Strategy Team, and colleagues across the entire value chain as research/science, innovation, clinical development, business development, medical affairs, global strategic marketing, regulatory affairs, and other functions.
Your role
As a Senior Global Early Asset Strategy Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the commercial agenda for LEO Pharma's early-stage development projects. You will collaborate cross-functionally on strategic projects aiming to optimize the value of assets at an indication level, asset level, and portfolio level. Your strategic input will be instrumental in program development, including assessing multiple indications, evaluating industry pipelines & mapping competitive landscape. You will bridge patient needs with the science of assets to enable indication expansion, prioritization and lifecycle strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the market potential of selected assets within multiple indications, develop optimal indication launch sequence, map competitor landscape & identify future trends for the industry and market winning strategies.
- Lead development of comprehensive TPP and ensure cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
- Lead efforts within Asset Maximization space and ensure smooth and efficient handover of selected indications to the brand team when particular development stage is achieved.
- Provide commercial input to clinical trial set up.
- Integrate insights from patients, physicians, and payers to understand treatment gaps and stakeholders’ evidence needs.
- Drive the development of situational analysis and early brand strategy to define positioning and set commercial direction for the program.
- Lead team efforts towards designing, validating & implementing robust processes & tools aiming to improve team efficiencies and cross functional alignment.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a person with a strong business acumen and a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry. Excellent communication, collaboration & stakeholders management skills are essential for this role.
Your qualifications:
- Master's degree, combined with +8 years of experience within the pharmaceutical sector, including experience working with early assets (NPP experience strongly desired).
- End-to-end understanding of the pharma value chain, supported by working experience in minimum two functional areas such as strategic marketing, clinical development, pricing, finance, market access, medical affairs, forecasting, NPP, corporate strategy, competitive intelligence & data analytics, or life sciences consultancy.
- Proven track record of solving complex business dilemmas and working strategically with assets through pre-clinical phases until pre-launch.
- Experience in navigating a matrix organisation, planning, aligning and dealing with ambiguity.
- Data (including clinical data) understanding and translation into recommendations to inform strategic and investment decisions.
