Description
As Agile Delivery Lead you will be responsible for managing team deliveries, combining Scrum Master sprint activities and project management in a longer launch cycle, using agile practices and methodologies. An Agile Delivery Lead is expected to support 2-3 Product Delivery teams, and to contribute to the continuous improvement of the Technical Program Management Team.

What you will be doing

    Agile Ceremonies:

    • Lead and facilitate Agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and sprint retrospectives.
    • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize the team sprint backlog.
    • Remove impediments and address challenges that hinder team progress, ensuring a smooth development and delivery process. This means following a solution-oriented approach that assures timely cross-team communication and effective dependency tracking.
    • Provide guidance in epic and user story creation, estimation and acceptance criteria definition.
    • Encourage teams to leverage the Organization Definition of Done, as well as develop a complimentary team-specific Definition of Done.
    • Monitor dashboards for sprints, security tickets, and customer support tickets.
    • Drive continuous improvement within the team together with the Engineering Manager.
    • Lead and participate in Scrum of Scrum meetings relevant to the team s domain.
    • Ensure the team backlog in Jira is always up to date.
    • Champion Agile principles and methodologies, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
    • Collaborate with other Agile Delivery Leads and management to refine and improve Agile practices and processes.
    • Coach and mentor teams in Agile practices, emphasizing self-organization, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • With other Agile Delivery Leads, own Technical Program Management s Agile Ways of Working playbook.
    • Establish and drive an incremental delivery mindset in the teams.
    Agile Coaching:

    Release Management:

  • Collaborate with the Release Manager to identify and plan maintenance, beta and early access releases.
  • Support the Release Manager by providing timely updates on progress towards releases, whether incremental and launch-worthy.
  • Ensure that teams follow release readiness guidance from the Release Manager.
  • Support the Engineering Manager in monitoring and managing Product Pulse timelines / deadlines within the team.
  • Work with the Engineering Manager to assess team capacity to that delivery timelines for epics and initiatives can be accurately forecast. Capacity assessment should include confidence level, risks, and unknowns.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager in managing stakeholder communication throughout a Product Development cycle.

What we will require of you

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in a technology field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product delivery or technical program management, with a strong focus on Agile practices.
  • Proven track record of coaching teams to continuous improvement through self-reflection.
  • Experience in cross-team communication, and stakeholder management.
  • Competence in a range of Agile methodologies, and flexibility in tailoring those methodologies to each team s unique needs and personality.

  • Prior experience in cloud computing and SaaS-based products.
